Bio
Cory Walsh, Lic.Ac. holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Connecticut and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master’s Degree in Chinese Medicine from Emperor’s College in Los Angeles, California.
After a long career in the nonprofit world working with children’s groups and environmental organizations, Cory embarked on a journey into the world of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In addition to the four years spent attaining her graduate degree, she worked in clinics throughout Los Angeles as well as studying with top physicians in hospitals throughout Bejing, China. After living for 13 years in Southern California, she has recently returned to her roots in New England and is thrilled to be working on the North Shore of Massachusetts where she spent a great deal of her childhood.
Her specialties include musculoskeletal pain; infertility; facial rejuvenation; osteoarthritis; and disorders such as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. She is trained in numerous techniques and can address a wide variety of diseases using acupuncture, herbal medicine, Chinese therapeutic massage, nutritional advice and lifestyle counseling.
Cory believes strongly in the philosophy of complementary medicine which embodies the concept that no individual branch of medicine has all of the answers. It is in the spirit of working together that physicians, acupuncturists, chiropractors and other specialists can make strides toward not only healing patients but also preventing illness from manifesting. Cory is eager to work collaboratively with all healthcare professionals toward that goal.
